Well its been a while since I updated the site, for which I apologise.

We worked very hard this year to make improvement to our score at BABS convention at the end of May.
We were fortunate to get Tonic quartet and Neil Firth to coach us, and we all had a couple of great week ends working with them.

I am glad to report that our hard work paid off, as we came away with our highest mark ever, and particularly pleasing were our marks for Presentation where we have in the past struggled to do well.

This year both songs scored 67 and we had an overall score of 65.4 almost 4% up on the previous result which is an enormous jump at that level. Some of our wonderful ladies helped enormously this year as we decided to utilise a little stage make up to improve our appearance on stage. Thank you ladies we could not have done it without you!

We were 19 on the risers which although one of our biggest ever looks very small when compared to some of the chorus’ we compete against. We definitely need a few more members whom can compete which would I am sure give us a fuller sound. If you are interested or you know someone who might be feel free to come along or invite them to come along to one of our rehearsals. (Thursday evenings 7.30 at Banbury twenty cricket club in Banbury)

Apart from that we have as usual been busy with a variety of shows around the Banbury area. We were very pleased to be able to support Hallmark of Harmony recently at a concert they did for Kings Sutton Church which proved to be a great evening. As usual of course we finished in the local pub for “light refreshment” and a few more songs.

Please check out our events page for details of where and when we are performing so that you can come and join the fun – we would be delighted to see you!
